How monsters behave
Monsters wander near the spot they live and attack anyone who comes too close. Once they're fighting you, they keep chasing until a while after your last hit, then run home and heal. When one is attacked or spots you, monsters nearby come to help, and they keep calling any they run past while chasing. Monsters that came to help form a group: hitting any one of them keeps the whole group after you. Most come back a little while after they were defeated.
